Made to be played with, this treasure map has been lovingly designed with hands-on adventure at its heart, and features a unique island layout on one side, with six fiendish clues leading to the location of hidden treasure on the reverse side.
How to enjoy
Although this map can be enjoyed in all kinds of imaginative ways, we recommend it as a game for children’s parties and family gatherings. Fun can be had by recreating the island in any space, like a field, beach or indoor space… wherever you feel adventurous… using your own props for each monument and then working through the riddles as a team until the treasure is found! You just need to decide what the treasure will be!
We think this is a great game to add some adventure to any gathering, particularly pirate-themed parties!
Alternatively it can be used as a realistic prop for grown up fancy dress parties to get the conversation going. It is also suitable for framing to decorate any map-lover’s home.

The map is a double-sided design, the front showing the geographical layout of our imaginary island of Montecaldera, silkscreen printed in black and burgundy from our original design, while the reverse consists of six poetic clues, handprinted in black, which if correctly followed will give you the location in which the pirate R. Q. Munroe buried his treasure.
The original artwork for the island includes features such as volcanoes, ancient ruins, caves, lagoons and waterfalls for players to puzzle through as they try to crack the buccaneer’s rhyming riddles.
